Emails Sent
Messages Sent – This is total number of emails on the contact list that you delivered an email to (not including the contacts under the Exclusions tab).
Delivered Emails / Messages Delivered – This is the total number of Messages Sent that successfully arrived to contacts on the email list (i.e., the email successfully made it to their email inbox). They are emails that have been confirmed by the recipient’s server as having been accepted (as opposed to the email being bounced, invalid, etc.).
Email Opens
Total Opens – Total opens includes every instance an email was opened. For example, if a single recipient opened the same email 5 times, it would count that as 5 opens.
Unique Opens – This is the number of emails that were opened by a unique recipient. For example, if a single recipient opened the same email 5 times, it would only count is as 1 Unique Open.
Open Rate – Your open rate percentage is calculated by dividing the number of Unique Opens by the number of Delivered Emails.
Email Clicks
Total Clicks – This is the number of emails that were clicked through by the recipient. Certain contacts may have clicked through an email multiple times and the Total Clicks metric would count every instance.
Unique Clicks – This is the number of emails that were clicked through by a unique recipient. For example, if a single recipient clicked a link 5 times, it would only count is as 1 Unique Click.
Click Rate – Your open rate percentage is calculated by dividing the number of Unique Clicks by the number of Delivered Emails.
Unsubscribes, Spam & Bounces
Unsubscribes – This is the number of contacts that unsubscribed.
Spam Complaints – This is the number of contacts that were reported your email as spam mail.
Hard Bounces – This is the number of emails that were rejected by the recipient ISP and are marked as permanently undeliverable.
Soft Bounces- This is the number of emails that were rejected by the recipient. ISP and are marked as temporarily undeliverable.
